Nirvanna The Band The Show: Marketing

Nirvanna the Band the Show is a mockumentary television series where the two stars try to get their non-band a dream gig at their favorite bar.

However, the entire show is filmed in the real world and no release forms were used, with the publics faces being blurred and indirectly involved in the action. The show is so insane, that we felt a typical marketing campaign would not fully do it justice.

Instead we gained attention by putting out the obvious, the misspelled band name, a declartion that we wished not to be sued (we were sued) and if you appear in the show and don’t want to be in it, to call our boss Spike Jonze.

Sorry we didn’t tell you about that, Spike.
